Description
The Silvertone 1446 Reissue brings back the model associated with Chris Isaak in a new instrument. It offers a way to explore the 1446’s distinctive appeal without purchasing an original-period guitar.
The pickups are the highlight here: reverse-engineered mini humbuckers by Wilkinson. Their impressive sound is a key attraction of this reissue, making the electronics a central part of its appeal rather than simply a nod to the earlier model’s appearance.
A sunburst finish and trapeze tailpiece complete the presentation. For a buyer drawn to the 1446 specifically, this instrument pairs that familiar visual character with the strongly praised pickup design in a new reissue.
